Brother Knights:
We need knights from 3 PM to 6 PM this Saturday, August 19th to sort and
this Sunday, August 20th 8 AM to 2 PM on Sunday to sort and count.
Remember this drive is very important. Hope to see you at St. Mary's
Garage.
John Lamplough, the coordinator, will arrive late on Saturday but will
have everything set up and ready to go.
ALSO:
1. The annual Outdoor Mass & Parish Picnic for St. John's, will be held
on Sunday, September 17. The parish will need assistance with setting
up chairs and tables, starting around 7:30, and also with manning the
grilles. If you want more info, or want to participate, please contact
Dick Curtis at Dick.Curtis@hp.com or 978-692-7924.
2. Saint John's will hold a golf tournament on Monday, September 25 --
the Monday following our Tootsie Roll Drive tournament. They've asked
the Council if we might be able to help out in some way, whether by
working at the tournament or by providing a raffle donation. If you're
interested in either of those, please contact Dick Curtis. If you're
interested in golfing in the tournament, please contact the Parish
Secretary, Sharon Norkunas, at 978-257-8571 ext. 212.
