Gentlemen:

The council is running the Bottle & Can Drive at St. Mary’s on Sat Oct
28th and Sun, Oct 29th. We have one CCD class on Sunday from 8 AM to 11:30.

I will need help on Saturday from 3:30 to 5:15 PM and Sunday from 11:30
to 1 PM. I intend to get everything done before kick-off at 1:05.

1. Saturday, October 21st at the 4:00 Mass at St. Mary Church in
Chelmsford, will be a 6th Anniversary Mass of Rememberance in Honor of
David Gorham. All are invited to attend.

2. Calling all brothers: Our Social Meeting this month, October 23rd,
is to increase and invigorate our council membership. Each brother is
asked to bring a new recruit or recent member as we will review our
Councils activities for the year with the recruits and new members.
Lets socialize and increase our membership.

Saint John's Parish will hold the annual Eucharistic Adoration on
Friday, October 20th, through Saturday, October 21st, beginning at the
end of Friday's 9 AM Mass, and running up to Saturday's 4 PM Mass.
Knights and other Catholics are encouraged to attend, at whatever time
and for whatever duration they can. If you feel comfortable in
committing to be there at a particular time -- particularly between 10
PM and 8 AM -- please contact Dick Curtis, at 978-692-7924 or
Dick.Curtis@hp.com to help fill out the schedule. (As I understand it,
canon law requires at least one person to be present at all times during
the Adoration.)

TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE

Legs are aching, I’m tired, it’s raining and windy or hot and sticky.
Why am I standing here, holding this can?

Two examples are: Ken Desilets is currently working with two families.
We expect to
1 Donate $5000.00 toward the purchase of a bed that will roll from side
to side, reducing the possibility of bed soars.
This is for a young Chelmsford boy with severe physical handicap.
2 Purchase one $2000.00 hearing aid for a Westford youngster who has
additional debilitating illnesses.

Throughout the years as a result of your efforts, the Bishop Ruocco
Council has been able to make the life of some youngsters and their
families just a little bit more pleasant.

If you can help, specifically on Friday, the 6th, afternoon or evening,
