Gentlemen:
Below are two messages I received today.
Barry

Friends and Family:
As most of you are aware my Mom has been ill for over a year battling cancer.  Last night she passed on from this life to continue her journey in the afterlife.
There will be services in Florida later this week, and then here in Massachusetts in a couple of weeks.
I am sending this only to keep you informed.  We have no need for anything beyond your thoughts and prayers which are always very much appreciated.
  Blessings to all,
Fran

Would you please send an email to ask the Brother Knights to pray for me and 5 other men who will be ordained as deacons on Saturday, February 2 at Holy Cross Cathedral in downtown Boston?  Thanks.  If anyone has free time on Feb 2, they are welcome to join us for the Mass which begins at 10 am and will last about 2 hours.

The men being ordained are:

Tamiru Atraga
Mark Barr
Bill Lohan
Arthur MacKay
Joe Mazzone
Paul Sullivan

The date for ordination to the priesthood will be May 24.  May God bless the Chelmsford Knights for their ongoing support for me!

Gentlemen:

I just received a phone call from Phyllis (Tom Hughes' daughter).  Tom is in Lowell General because he was not feeling well.  He went in on late Sunday as he was dehydrated and feeling weak.  He will be there to gain back some strength and get IV fluids.    She was not sure how long he would be in the hospital but his Room is 3317A.   Tom and she asked for your prayers.  If you would like to send him a card, his home address is 13 North Main Street, Westford, MA  01886.
