The Bishop Ruocco KofC will be holding the SOCCER SHOOTOUT on Sunday 21 Sep 08 at Harrington School from 12 - 2PM
Any brothers who can assist in running this event would be appreciated. About 35 youths participated last year.

Jack Clancy and Mike O'Malley are leading this event. The Chelmsford HS coaches and Soccer League have been advised and support this event.

I know this conflicts with the Church Bicentennial, but the dates were picked by the Soccer coaches and League

If any questions call PAUL RIGAZIO at 978-xxx-xxxx

A message to parents with kids in school!

By now most students have returned to class. If they're like mine, you just received many different forms to be completed and returned to the school. Some of these forms are applications for group life insurance. The big question is: "Do I or Don't I Apply?"  You really need to understand what you are buying.

You are most likely buying a term life plan that needs to be renewed every year. These plans do not build any cash or dividends and most of them cannot be continued for any length of time.

I started my own children off with Knights of Columbus Insurance at very young ages. The plans the KofC offers not only build cash values and dividends, but also are permanent plans that grow with time and will never expire, as long as the premiums are paid. They can keep them as long as they want. Once you lock in the low premium at a young age, it is guaranteed to never increase!

Plans start at around $ 6.00 per month. Please contact me at kofcins@aol.com or call me in Pelham at (603) 894-4780. I'll be happy to explain the details to you with absolutely no obligation whatsoever! You're kids will thank you later...

I would like to personally thank everyone that helped out at the booth, or for the parade for the 4th of July. Because of your efforts, our council raised approximately $800 in profit, and was given honorable mention for our float in the parade. We look forward to doing it again next year.

I have included a link to some photos taken over the two days. If you have photos of the event that you would like to share please email them to me at adam.heroux@gmail.com and I will include them in the web album.

Thank you all again for your help in this successful event,

Adam Heroux
