| Brothers Below is printed the Obituary and Memorial Mass announcement for Matt Falcone who recently passed away. Matthew J. Falcone of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Chelmsford Bonita Springs, FL Matthew J. Falcone of Bonita Springs, Fl and Hollis, NH, formerly a longtime resident of N. Chelmsford, died Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Bonita Springs, FL. He was born March 9, 1934, in Boston to the late Henry and Josephine (Falcone) Falcone. He had a very loving relationship with his wife Annette (Verrier) and would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in April. He will be remembered by her as her best friend. Matthew was a Korean War Era Veteran in the Air Force, stationed in Alaska. He was a 50 year member of the Sheet Metal Union, Local #17 of Boston and a 3rd degree member of the Chelmsford/Westford Knights of Columbus. He loved to be by the water fishing, sailing, spending hot summer weekends with his family at the beach. He also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in the garden he tendedat his home in Hollis. He learned to play golf when he retired and acquired a love for the sport. As a skilled craftsman, he was always willing to help family and friends with home projects. He truly enjoyed the life he and Annette built for themselves in Bonita Springs and will be sadly missed by all their wonderful friends there and the family he has left behind. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four daughters, Michelle Ettelson and her husband Steven of Hollis, NH, Donna Hutchins and her husband Michael of King, NC, Debra Szylvian and her husband Ted of Townsend and Dianne Ahlquist and her husband Ron of Brookline, NH; two sons, Matthew A. Flacone and his wife Lisa of Litchfield, NH and Major RobertA. Falcone (currently on active duty in Iraq) of Worcester and his friend Karen Livoli of Acton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Francis Berube and her husband Donald of Billerica; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by loving daughter Sharon Bayard. FALCONE A Memorial Service will be held on January 3, 2009, at the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St, Nashua, NH at 10:00 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to The Dana Farber Cancer Institute (skin cancer designated contribution). |
